خمسٌ وعشرون قطعة. هذا كل ما صُنع منها.

انظر إلى الميناء تجد الصحراء حاضرة: بنيٌّ قهويّ عند الحافة، يخفّ حتى يصير رملاً دافئاً في المنتصف، تماماً كما ينحسر الضوء عن الكثبان في آخر النهار. وتحت هذا التدرّج الدخانيّ حقلٌ من الأشكال السداسية — حراشف أفعى إن نظرت إليها من زاوية، وشبك مقدّمة سيارة سباق إن نظرت من الأخرى.

والميناء عربيّ بالكامل: «ناغا» عند الثانية عشرة، و«كرونوغراف» عند السادسة، وأرقام عربية على العدّادين وفي نافذة التاريخ. ساعةٌ خليجية تقول ذلك بحروفها. وما تبقّى سباق: عقرب كرونوغراف برتقاليّ واحد يقطع الميناء بطوله، ومؤشرات بارزة يحفّها البرتقاليّ على مادة مضيئة بيضاء، وعدّاد أربعٍ وعشرين ساعة عند الثالثة، وعدّاد الدقائق عند التاسعة، كلاهما غائرٌ في حلقتين بلون الطين المحروق. ومقياس التاكيميتر مطبوع على الحلقة الداخلية لا على الإطار، فيبقى إطار العلبة مصقولاً نظيفاً دون أي تشويش.

تصل على سوار ناغا المميّز، ومعها ما لم تُرفقه ناغا من قبل: قفازات سباق من الجلد الطبيعي، وأداة خاصة بالساعة، ولأول مرة في تاريخ العلامة — حزام جلديّ. لكل قطعة رقمها، مثبَّتاً داخل صندوقها. خمسة وعشرون شخصاً فقط سيملكون واحدة.

Look into the dial and the desert is already there — coffee brown at the rim, thinning to warm sand at the centre, the way light leaves the dunes at the end of an afternoon. Under the fumé sits a field of hexagons: snake scale from one angle, the mesh of a racing grille from the other.

And the dial is Arabic, all of it — ناغا at twelve, كرونوغراف at six, Arabic-Indic numerals across both registers and inside the date window. A Gulf watch that says so in its own alphabet. The rest is racing: the Seiko VK64 meca-quartz drives a single orange chronograph hand the full width of the dial and snaps it back instantly, applied indices are flanked in orange against white Super-LumiNova, and a 24-hour register at three faces the minute counter at nine, both sunk into terracotta rings. The tachymeter is printed on the inner chapter ring rather than the bezel — so the bezel stays what it should be: polished steel, and nothing else.

It arrives on the Naga signature bracelet, and it arrives with things Naga has never packed before: genuine leather racing gloves, a watch tool, and — a first for the brand — a leather strap. Each piece carries its own number, set into the box it comes in. Twenty-five people will own one.
